In September, YouthWorks held a mentor workshop entitled “Mentor Essentials”. The purpose of the workshop was to provide mentors with an opportunity to network and prepare for the upcoming program year.
The workshop covered topics including:
- Strategies for orienting new youth interns
- Measuring intern growth and progress
- Program updates for 2011-2012
