It’s that time of year again. Time for YouthWorks participants to move on from their internships in city government and our program and to transition into their next set of experiences.
To support youth in their transition out of the program, YouthWorks held a series of meetings with exiting participants over the past few weeks. Youth worked with program staff to reflect on and evaluate their experience in the program, to lay out concrete plans for their next employment and educational steps, and to create an art piece representing their thoughts and plans for the future.
We are looking forward to our program graduation on Wednesday, May 12. We are always sorry to see a class of interns move on, but excited for their future prospects.
