Lealoa is a native San Franciscan. She received her BS in HR Management from California State University-Long Beach. While in Long Beach, she mentored at-risk youth and first-generation high school students. This sparked her passion in working with students and helping them to achieve their academic/ career goals. Prior to joining the YouthWorks team, she briefly worked in the Career Development Center at City College of San Francisco and in Academic Affairs at the CSU: Office of the Chancellor.
Lealoa currently oversees internships with the: Board of Supervisors, City Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, SFFD, SFUSD Student Advisory Council, Sheriff’s Department, and Department of Children, Youth and Families.
